so we just had our schools / youth conference and boy can i tell ya it was off the hook cool! we had ps levi marychurch from arise wellington come and speak and man he must have nailed it! 50 first time decisions for Christ in the morning and another 30 at night, woo it was great to see and hear!

speaking about hearing we had the regional worship band, epic come play too. they are so cool (not just because im their lighting / media guy), they were so creative this year throwing in some rocking out instumentals into break free etc. oh i have to give huge props to leightion and tracy who led songs in epic for the first time (i think) they did real well!


anyway right now i am so tired and sore its not funny, i just want to sleep but theres more packdown to go =/ might save it for tomorrow and rest today. lol

theme

so i have noticed something, there seems to be a theme thats going around... its one of hunger for god, one of seeking for him...

the story of the women with the issue of blood has also come up, basically there were heaps of people who were bumping jesus, but she went and touched him. she stood out and touched jesus while all those around were merely bumping into him...

tonight we had a church service with arise church from wellington who are on a week long tour touring the north island going to a new church every day... ps john cameron spoke about crossing the jordan river in our lives, which man its amazing how it all follows the same theme of being hungry for god.

to be hungry for god we have to step out in faith like the israelites had to step out in faith and cross the jordan river to gain gods blessing for them.

gods awesome when he uses many different people to speak the same message.

basically ill leave you with this, be hungry because hunger is the enemy of comfort and if you are comfortable then you are not moving in what god has for your life.
